by Kyra GregoryI actually haven’t been reading as much as I used to. With life just getting in the way it’s been hard for me to sit down and simply read a good book. However, I did find the time to read this particular novelette, Despair & Decision by Kyra Gregory. It’s not a very long book which is why I call it a novelette, but that doesn’t make it any less worth the read.
This book deals with a lot of issues that are hard to bring up in society today and it does it in a way that keeps the reader interested and wanting more. The events that take place in this book possibly have happened to young women more often than people think or choose to see.
This is an LGBT book and the couple in this book is extremely relatable to any other lesbian couple out there. They could be living next door to you right now.
This book succeeds in keeping the reader interested while bringing to light issues that people normally turn away from or are “uncomfortable” talking about. That’s really what I love about this particular book. It is strong and passionate right from the very beginning and it stayed that way throughout it’s entirety, always introducing readers to problems in our society that should be addressed while making me want to know more and more about the main characters.
As of right now this novel is only available on the Amazon Kindle, but hopefully we’ll see it available in print format as well in the future. For the small price of $2.99 you can have an excellent book added to your collection.
